Piano for Special Needs Book

The Numeric Language of Music® program is based on seven musical tones. This book introduces the foundation of the language in very simple steps. Step 1: Learn the seven tones of the Numeric “Alphabet”. Step 2: Learn the seven basic forms of music vocabulary (very simple). Step 3: Learn simple motions of the hand to play the vocabulary with. Step 4: Numeric sequences indicate different locations on the piano keyboard
to play the music vocabulary.
Depending on the needs of the student, this program is most effective if practiced two or more times a week for thirty days. The program efficiently establishes the basics of the Numeric Language of Music®. Depending on the degree of disability, some children were only able to play a single piano key as the hand motion, and some needed assistance. The results we have documented on this site were achieved by playing the musical tones through the specific numeric sequences directed in this book. Recommended for ages 2 to 6 with parental assistance and any age with significant disability.
